Because

The only reason for it is just because

The way she acts is because of what he does

What he does is because of who he loves

Who he loves is because of who he was

Who he was wasn't who he wanted to be.

Free, free is who he wanted to be

She is not free because she is bound by what she knows to be true

The words because I love you.

Doing things she didnt want to do

Because I love you

Horrible words on their cracked, crooked wings flew

Because I love you

Baseless claims made too

Because I love you

Just when she thought she was through

Because I love you.

The way she loves is just because

The way she was taught this lifelong burden;

Through troubles and trials,

Heartbreaks and denials,

Self hate and seldom love,

Masquerading lust and decaying doves,

Terrible highs and gut wrenching lows,

Shattered homes and self deprecating blows,

This is the lesson she knows

Because i love you.
