Because

I would do anything for you

I'd fight a dragon

or go on some magical quest

Because I love you.

I would turn up at your door,

For nothing more

Than to hold your hair when you are sick

Because I love you.

When we fought or I hurt you

we'd talk it all through

I would never go to bed mad

Because I love you.

I love you.

I really do.

No matter the day or time, I'm there,

because I love you.

You walked away.

You said we were through.

I didn't understand how that could be,

because  I still love you.

The skies are more gray no,

my whole day, I'm missing you,

I don't quite feel like myself,

because I still love you.

You said enough was enough

I said I'd be tough

I've left you alone

Because I do love you

I don't blow up your phone

I know tha answer is no

I don't give you a hard time or make you feel bad

Because I love you.

Love is not easy, not always meant-to-be

Rather than with her, I wish you were with me,

But love means respecting each other, so I let you be

Because I still love you

Because that's what a love should do.
