Because

my laughter is not censored

because you make me forget I hate my laugh.

all my secrets are your common knowledge

because I trust you to treat them as your own.

my voice echos to you across a crowded room

because I forget there is a world around the two of us.

I watch you leave with someone else

because I know they make you happy.

I am there for you when you return alone.

because I care more about your emotions than my own.

and all of this is so

because I love you.
