Because
Because I love you, I will walk this broken road with you.
Because I love you, I will always lend a shoulder for you to cry on.
Because I love you, I will never leave you behind, even if you are too weak to stand.
Because I love you, I will not let your fears consume your light.
Because I love you, I will always be by your side, even if you feel unworthy.
Because I love you, I understand that you need to fight some battles on your own, but
Because I love you, I will never leave your side during those battles and I will heal your wounds.
Because I love you, I will support you in every way that I can as you fight this unseen dragon.
Because I love you, I will not leave you alone in this fog of sickness.
Because I love you, I understand your anxiety.
Because I love you, I can stand to look at myself in the mirror.
Because I love you, I am trying to eat at least two meals a day instead of one.
Because I love you, I allow myself to cry and I recognize the strength in it.
Because I love you, I no longer hate myself for being two minutes late.
Because I love you, I allow myself to be comforted when all seems lost.
Because I love you, I drink more water and keep my body healthy.
Because I love you, I can see a light at the end of this dark tunnel and
Because I love you, I now believe that there is an end to this hell inside my head.
Because I love you, the anger and fear and sadness that was hiding in my heart is dissipating.
Because you love me, I have found the strength to battle this depression.
Because I love you, I know that we can make it out of this even stronger, hand in hand.
Because I love you, I see a future ahead of both of us, just waiting for us to get there.
Because I love you, I have found strength for both you and for myself.
Because I love you, I have found a happier meaning in life.
Because I love you, it is only a matter of time until we can smile without unseen chains in our hearts.
