because he loves me

he used to say he screams at me because he loves me

he doesnt let me see my friends because he loves me

he says things that he doesnt mean because he loves me

he checks my phone because he loves me

but those things arent done because he loves me those things are because he is insecure

he is supposed to listen to me because he loves me

he is supposed supposed to comminicate with me because he loves me

he is supposed to tell me how beautiful i am even on my ugly days because he loves

me

he is supposed to make me feel safe and open because he loves me

people tend to mask their insecurity with the excuse of love

love is not owning a person and treating them like their object

love is recognizing their significant other as a human being too and loving them despite all their flaws
