Because He Loves Me

​He​ ​hit​ ​me,​ ​but​ ​it​ ​will​ ​not​ ​happen​ ​again 
Because​ ​he​ ​loves​ ​me 
He​ ​cheated​ ​on​ ​me,​ ​he​ ​will​ ​never​ ​drink​ ​again 
Because​ ​he​ ​loves​ ​me 
He​ ​hurt​ ​me,​ ​but​ ​I​ ​antagonized 
Because​ ​he​ ​loves​ ​me 
 
You​ ​are​ ​a​ ​liar 
You​ ​do​ ​not​ ​love​ ​me 
I​ ​do​ ​not​ ​deserve​ ​this 
You​ ​do​ ​not​ ​love​ ​me 
I​ ​am​ ​leaving​ ​you 
You​ ​do​ ​not​ ​love​ ​me 
 
I​ ​met​ ​a​ ​new​ ​man 
He​ ​is​ ​falling​ ​in​ ​love​ ​with​ ​me 
He​ ​treats​ ​me​ ​with​ ​respect 
He​ ​is​ ​falling​ ​in​ ​love​ ​with​ ​me 
It​ ​feels​ ​safe​ ​with​ ​him 
He​ ​is​ ​falling​ ​in​ ​love​ ​with​ ​me 
 
I​ ​trust​ ​him 
This​ ​is​ ​love 
He​ ​never​ ​hurts​ ​me 
This​ ​is​ ​love 
I​ ​never​ ​feel​ ​alone
