Because He Said “I love you”
He Said “I love you”
How can those words sound so real?
But feel so fake
How can those words sound so soothing like rain?
But my poor heart is aching in pain
As you twist my words around
Making me feel like I’m the bad person
When really you the reason why I’m hurting
No relationship is perfect
But in this one...
I’m hiding behind a curtain
He said “Give me your phone let check your messages”
Looking for other dudes name
Trying to determine if my feelings are still the same
He said “Your eating too much”
But What does too much mean to him?
Curves, a little meat, but he likes his girls slim.
Ah!
He’s has exceptions
With other dudes, I can’t have friendly conversations
Without him blowing up in my face
Ready to lose his mind when I ask for space
According to him, I can no longer go out on Friday nights
Correct me if I’m wrong
But something ain’t right
He’s too close, got me feeling stuck, feeling tight.
I gotta leave
Cuz in the relationship I can’t breathe
He then say “I don’t want to lose you”
But if you have to say you don’t want to lose me
Doesn’t that already mean that you lost me ?
But in this relationship I’m feeling lost
I got to go
Then he say “I do this because I love you”
If this how love suppose to feel?
Then it couldn’t be real
Cuz being hurt and unhappy
Is an unsigned deal
I have lost myself
And I no longer know what it feels like to feel
