Because of him

When I look up at him

All I see is him.

Everything blurs,

And he is all I can focus on.

He is all I want to think about.
He never leaves my mind.

And I never want him to.

He keeps me sane

As I do the same for him.

His touch

Cures me of all the insecurities

As his kiss

Relaxes my tensions

His words

Purify my sins

And his love

Brings me light

A light I never saw before.

Before I met him.

A light I never thought to look for.

A light I needed,

Needed to escape,

Escape the prison I was trapped in.

He led me away from the ledge.

A ledge I will never visit again.
