Because Hope Refuses to Die, Even as We Do

Every single second is counting down
Tick tock tick tock, it mocks us
The clock comes crashing off the wall
Tick tock tick tock, it never stops
And still we think, that nothing can come between.
And still, we fight, not knowing we're not alive.
Tick tock tick tock, it says again.
Our times running out, we're near the end.
But we just don't understand
why can't we simply comprehend?
