Because I love him.

"Because I love him," is what I tell my dad.

Because I love the way our eyes lock when I enter the room.

Or when he grabs my hand and acts as if I was the best thing to happen to him.

Because I love the way I feel his heartbeat pace faster when I say a simple, "I love you."

Because I love the way time freezes when I am with him.

But what does love really mean?

Love is fun.

It is play fights, cheesy dates and jokes.

From singing 80s music in the car to making Christmas cookies.

Love is sadness.

You go through hard times, but you come back together stronger.

You experience more emotions that you have not witnessed from your person, or even you.

Love is happiness.

God sends someone into your life because you deserve it.

God sends someone you can find a better you in.

God sends someone in your life that can forever make you smile, like a teenager girl.

Because I love him.

Because I love the way my heart feels just but looking at him.

"Because I love you," is what he said when I did not find a place in the world.

"Because I love you," is what he said when I doubted myself.

"Because I will love you forever," is what he said when he promised to be with me forever.

Because I love you.
