Because I love me
Because I love you,
I grew close to you and I got use to your every move.
I never once approved of the lies or the pain you brought along.
But because I love you, I never saw the wrong you were doing so I was able to forgive you.
I volunteered my broken heart to make you feel loved and all I got back was a breath of air.
Not the kind that swept me off my feet but the kind I can’t stand to bare breath!
It was the bad air that suffocated me,
That crippled me.
Your love became a riddle I couldn’t figure out.
Because I love me, I made the choice to be about something.
The something you couldn’t be.
I freed my mind from the expectations of love and was showed what it really was.
I’m in a generation where we speculate everything and have a hard time living.
Our society has many hidden emotions that we are to afraid to face.
But because I embrace the truth I am able to see the love.
I can do more than just feel it, it feels a empty heart with so much passion.
Love helps to heel anger and gives you endless laughter’s.
Because I love me, my life matters.
Love makes you feel important, not forgotten.
A loving feeling would not leave marks on you but it would be a blossom to your skin.
A person who loves you holds your chin up when all you can do is look down.
Look around because love is everywhere.
The mother who carried you for nine months and made it her everyday job to care for you is love.
A father who can’t always be there because he’s has to put food in your stomach and clothes on your back shows true love.
The people who goes overboard to help you succeed is love!
Some of us will bleed to understand love but it’s a feeling that you can’t ignore.
Because I love me, I can stand on my two feet and come to a conclusion that I am loved.
Nothing more or nothing less; My life will stand, because I know love.
