Because I love myself more I will not wonder where you are when you are not with me. 

Because I love myself more I will not submit to you.

Because I love myself more I will voice my opinions when they go against yours, and no I will not let you tell me I am wrong.

Because I love you I will let you struggle.

Because I love you I will not do everything for you.

Because I love you I do NOT support your drug addictions.

Because I was told love means giving in, I was raised in an abusive home, so I WILL NOT give in.

Because I say no, that means no, not pressure me into having sex. 

Because my stepdad beat my mom I do not allow you to lay your hands on me

Because my mom broke her teeth on alcohol and pill bottles, I do not drink or do drugs

BECAUSE I LOVE MYSELF, I STAND UP FOR MYSELF
BECAUSE I LOVE MYSELF, I CANNOT LOVE YOU, you contradict me.
