Because I love you

The world is so much rosier because I love you,

the sky is full of gorgeous colors and I don’t feel so lost

Because I love you the world is in slow motion again.

Sure, some people get butterflies or stars in their eyes,

but with you, I feel warm.

The summer sun follows you home

and warms me

without burning.

Please don’t burn me!

Because I love you, sunshine survives through the winter.

And, because I love you, I will never fear the darkness again.

For you give off enough light

to guide me back.
