Because I love you

Because I love you I put up with the rain more than the shine

Because I love you I accept the flaws that no one else would

Because I love you I would rather cry than smile without you

After years of loving you, I realize i have not been truly loved.

Because I loved you, I never loved myself

Today I begin my life again

Love now stands for shine not rain

Love stands for acceptance

Love stands for crying from laughing too hard

I would not have learned how to truly love if I had not once loved you.
