Because I love you...

Because I love you… Because I love you I help you learn You speak when I say too That is a right you must earn Because I love you My hand will guide the way It’s just a bit of blue It will be gone in a day Because I love you You will not say no But that’s something you already knew You do it because I said so Because I love you You will not fear Get out of my view And fetch me another beer Because I love you I will run From a contagion worse than the flu I won’t fear you getting a gun Because I love you I called the cops Don’t try to lie they know what’s true You’re going away just like your pops Because I love you I am now free I met a new man at the zoo He really loves me for me Because I love you I am not scared I can do whatever I do I now know you never cared Because I love you I am now happy With a family to watch Winnie the pooh He doesn’t make me feel crappy Because I love you I have moved on My husband is like glue He holds me tight till dawn Because I love you I’m asked about my day You don’t yell when I talk to my friend Sue You show me the light not the gray Because I love you I am shown love Not locked in the Lou You say I’m pretty as a dove Because I love you I found hope When the first wind blew I lost all thoughts about using a rope
