Because I Love You

You possess great beauty

My mind you provoke

Your heart was boldly shown

The minute you spoke

In the warm shrinking snows

Our new love awoke

An instant addiction

More potent than coke

Because I love you, my dearest darling

Because I love you, my dear

My love for you can get to be so intense

I wouldn't wait to let you control my heart’s tear

In the warmth of the beautiful summer sun

As we basked in its earthly glow

It had been a while since our love had begun

And our kisses were covered in snow

Since then, our love has become bitter

Full of fights, rage, and pain

Since then, you have seemed to drift away

Your pure intentions are starting to stain

Because I love you, my dearest, beautiful, darling

Because I love you, my dear

Once before, I was blinded by an immense force

But your true intentions are becoming clear

My tears fall more frequently than the leaves do

I am so fearful of the inevitable statement“I am leaving you”

I’ve been with you for a short, short time

But I can’t not call you mine

When I think of you, I want to cry

When I think of you, I want to die

I must do something to drown the pain

I rely on numbing liquids to soothe my brain

Winter seems to be right around the corner

And the snows begin to fall

As my preventers steadily progress,

You are becoming less of my all

However, despite my frequent strategizing

I can’t seem to get over you

You’ll forever have a place in my heart

You leave me as twisted as a corkscrew

Because I love you, my dearest, darling

Because I love you, my dear

The thought of you consumes me

To point I can’t bare

You consume my mind constantly

And I know you think of me too

However your opinions you must not speak of

Or I will break in two.

I know you would say

That my possession is seen so clearly,

and then drowning out everything I feel so severely

It's all because, I love you, my darling, my deary
