Because I Love You

People often throw around the word love without fully understanding what it means

But sometimes the impact of that word remains unseen.

Because what love means to you may not mean the same to me

So you need to be careful until you understand the meaning of those words and the impact it may have you see.

To me healthy relationships show people love by being dependable, reliable and honest regardless of how they may feel.

It means always putting the person’s best interest first no matter if it makes them ill.

Because I love you, is displayed more in a person’s actions than in their words

It is also consistent and never comes across blurred.

Love should never hurt you, cause you to feel ashamed or down on yourself

It should be encouraging, supportive and uplifting even if you don’t have a dime left.

Love should never come with strings attached

It should always leave you feeling positive and warm but never leave a scratch.

Be careful when someone says those four words

Because it may be their way of taking something from you that you can’t get back

Like your innocents, your pride, your self-esteem or worst your life.
