Because I Love You

I love you, because you taught me to love myself.

I love you, because you treated me poorly, and now I know what I truly deserve.

I love you, because I stayed up countless nights worrying about you.

I love you, because you made me feel worthless.

I love you, because I felt like I had to be with you.

I love you, because I now know I need someone who is nothing like you.

I love you, because I now know that I love myself.
