"Because I love you&

"Because I love you"
That saying still remains
It might be a fond reminder
Or it might be a ball and chain

"Because I love you"
Should be said when offering tea
It should not be a plan
To train in a devotee

"Because I love you"
Is a sentence of love and trust
Why must people say it
For a reason that is unjust

"Because I love you"
Should mean one thing
It means you are there for them
For everything

I made this poem with the thought that love shouldn't hold you back. It should be about trust and being there for your partner thorugh thick and thin. Love should be freeing; not a weight holding you down.
