Because I Love You

you said those words and i knew it was true

you ask what was said, it was "Because i Love You"

we do anything for each other we do it because of love

if we start to sink we hold each other above

the waters of struggle begin to rise

rough and sharp they cut like knives

both of us laying on the floor motionless almost dead

i crawl to you and kiss your forehead

the power i feel coursing through

enough to survive i give it to you

because i know if you live i will survive too

i remember what you taught me

to be the best i could be

to cry but never be weak

to be happy and to never be bleak

to see the best in someone

to never give up until i am done

i think I reached the end

I did this because I love you goodbye my friend
