Because I love you

Because I love you, I won’t judge you

I won’t judge you for what you wear

Or the type of music you listen to

I won’t judge you for the way you laugh

You actually have an amazing laugh

A laugh that moves the world

I won’t judge you if you like wearing makeup

Or if you don’t

I won’t judge you for loving others before me

Or if you didn’t love them

I won’t judge you for not waiting

Even when you say you hate yourself for losing it to someone you didn’t love

I still love you

Because I love you, I can’t stop thinking about you

When I wake up

When I eat

When I brush my teeth

When I see your face

When I talk to you

When I fall asleep

I see us in my dreams

I see my future and you are in it

We live in a small town

With many dogs and cats and birds and fish

I wake up and the cycle begins again

Because I love you, I accept you for who you are

Loud but soft, determined yet considerate, stubborn but easy to love

Your smile lights the world

Your face, more beautiful than the rest

Your hair shines vibrantly with every step you take

Your hands show the dedication and hard work you have gave back into society

Your legs are full of sass, just like you

Because I love you, I want to be there for you

If you cry, I have a shoulder

If you are stressed, I have the hands

If you can’t do it anymore, I have the arms

If you feel alone, you have me

Because I love you, I am happy

I am excited

I am hopeful

I am calm

I am yours

Because I love you, we are happy

We are excited

We are hopeful

We are calm

We are each other’s, forever

I love you
