Because I love you

Because I love you I lost Myself.

I ignored my friends.

I put them on the shelf.

Day and night you left me alone.

Noone could notice.

I would not have shown.

Because I love you I am no longer pure.

It was our secret.

I thought that for sure.

People found out.

You lied to me.

That's when I began to doubt.

I opened up, I let myself loose.

I ignored their words.

When they called me loose.

And when I cried, you were gone.

I wish I knew before I loved you.

I let it go.

I thought we were real.

You thought it was a show.

Soon I realized who you were.

but I lost myself.

My life was a blur.

Because I loved you I turned things around.

They laughed at you.

Now you're the one with a frown.
