Because I Love You

I let you hold my hand, because I love you.

I let you talk about things I did not enjoy just to hear your voice, because I love you.

I hold your deepest secrets, because I love you.

I blush whenever you say my name, because I love you.

I would do anything just to please you, because I love you.

I hid my face to hide my imperfections, because I love you.

I let you tear down my self esteem, because I love you.

I hid the pain that you caused, because I love you.

I would not sleep, because I love you.

I cried myself to sleep, because I love you.

I let you find love, because I love you.

At least, I learned to let you go, because I love myself.
