Because I Love You

I only have $10 in my pocket, but you can have it.

It's my last $10, but nothing in the world would make me happier than giving it to you.

I see that you're shivering, you can wear my jacket.

I only have a short sleeve on under it, but your warmth is more important to me.

You have on no clothes, but all I see is your beautiful smile.

When I see it, I can't help but hope that I am the reason behind it.

You're the reason I was excited to wake up this morning.

You help me discover happiness in places I didn't think I could ever find it.

You made me realize that a healthy relationship needs trust.

Without it, the relationship will rust.

You made me realize that a healthy relationship has sacrifice.

It's tough, but that's just life.

When I tell you that I love you, just know it's true.

And that's why, if this $10 in my pocket were my last, I would still give it to you.
