Because I Love You

For the longest time, I told myself love wasn't for me.

Then you came along;

you and your sweet words that made everything okay.

The air tasted sweeter suddenly,

and there was a certain spring in my step.

Maybe it's the lovely Spring weather, I told myself,

or the magical flowers blooming.

Or maybe it's because I love you.
