Because I love you I want to be better

I want to grow as person

I want to magnify my good qualities

I want to crush my bad

I want to forgive myself and all others who have hurt me in the past

I want to love you better

I want to love you better so you can be better

I want to promote you

 I want to make you grow

My aspiration is to support you in everything

I love supporting you to grow to your highest potential

I love watching you thrive

And grow

And achieve

And learn

And be passionate

AND SUCCEED

Love is the driving force behind growth

Behind motivation

Behind aspiration

Behind dreams

Love should be optimistic

Inspiring, ethereal, positive

Love should be healthy

Healthy love is what makes me smile

It strips me of my anxiety

It rips me from my depressive darkness

It gives me a light to work towards

I have never found my healthy love in a romantic circumstance

My romantic experiences have left me:

Broken, pessimistic, darkened, hopeless,

Sometimes even worthless and suicidal.

Blessed am I though to have been given a healthy friendship

She inspires me

She encourages me

She keeps me in check

She is my rock,

Yet she is also my wings to soar on

Through the skies of adventure and the unknown

Thanks to her I know what healthy love looks like

Healthy love should stay.

Healthy love should keep you safe.

Healthy love should leave you fulfilled

If it rips you apart

If it brings you down

It is not true.

It is not love

It is not healthy

It is not happiness

It is manipulation and deceit.

Healthy love keeps the world flowing,

Healthy love, even in a friend,

Is essential

Without love:

Darkness surrounds,

Darkness encompasses,

Darkness IS.

But healthy love,

That

Is

Light
