Because I love you

Because I love you,

I will do this,

I will do that.

Because I love you,

What everyone else wouldn’t, I would go through.

‘Because I love you’,

I could say this,

And then do that.

But since I love you,

I will say something and do it too.

For do I love you,

I could say no,

Say you are dirt to me.

But I do love you,

No matter what and could never make you blue.

As to why I love you,

I may never know,

Nor you, or him, or her.

But I do love you,

As  a lace would love a shoe.
