Because I love you!

There is a phrase that many people say. The problem is they say it for two different reasons. Because I love you is often use when someone want to tell you that they care and other times to manipulate you into doing things that you don't want to do. I have heard it so many times over the years and sadly I have fallen for the manipulative side. I ask myself all the time why did you listen to him he just wanted to control you he didn't love you. Because I love you I want you to stay with me, because I love you I wish you would quit talking to your family they are tearing us apart. I cannot count how many times I have heard that. Every time the words start to leave his mouth I cringe because I can't trust that phrase anymore, it is like a liquid fire burning my heart every time I hear because I love you. There has only been one person who has said because I love you and I didn't feel my heart want to break, but alas in the end it did. Now I live in fear of hearing because I love you. Because I love you has become my nightmare, why should that phrase even exists. Because I love you has done more harm than good. There is no right or wrong way to say because I love you. But no matter what we do we all fall for it, it never fails. But because I love you we are all misunderstood.
