Because I love you

Because I love you, you don't get to cry alone or smile alone.

Because I love you, in anger, I will take a walk. I would rather loose myself in exhaustion than you to my temper.

Because I love you, I will hold your hands during thunderstorms. Not because you're afraid, but because I don't want to pass up the opportunity.

Because I love you, I will listen to your crazy thoughts and weird philosophies at the most inappropriate moments.

I will love your family like they are mine because they are.

I wil pray with you and for you.

I will respect your privacy.

Because I love you, I won't let you look crazy alone.

I will do all I can; even when it means holding your hand.

I will let you win the arguments. Not because I'm wrong, but because you're the real prize.

Your dreams have become our dreams.

I will sit with you on rainy days to watch raindrops on the windows.

I won't walk away when all we have left is love. It's all we started with anyway.

I will fight with you, for you and for us.

Because I love you, we would always be the people that drive everyone crazy. Whether we have firm skin or grey hair.

Because I love you, I will still laugh loud when you fall. Even when I don't have any teeth left.

Because I love you,  you're stuck with me. There are no holidays or sick leaves in this contract.

Because I love you, it'll be us. Always.
