Countless nights, Alone in my bed, I have thought of what my new life would be like with you. Conquering the world, Regardless of the nay-sayers, All, because I love you. Not knowing which way we would go Or what turns may come our way. But knowing that God would give me the strength to sustain each and every day. I made a vow the day I laid eyes on you, In that hospital room. Its me and you, little man, My love goes to the moon. I would love you regardless of any faults or flaws, And help you with any mountains you need to climb. I will teach you to be a gentlemen and to let your light shine. I will be attentive to your needs, your gifted talents and all. I will be there to lead and guide you. Help pick you up when you fall. A mother's love is unconditional, It has no boundaries or binds. It is truthful and nurturing, Loyal and kind. I just look at you at times and think, How miraculous you are, How much I love you and what we have conquered thus far.
