Because I Love You

Heart grows cold and my face turns numb

As my sun turns to my storm

Soon as my confidence begin to form

where did the love go

it came easy as fallen snow, to hard as crashing waves

what can I say

he said love is pain

but how is love pain, how could love make me feel ashamed

until i realize the love I had was to blame for the terrible mistakes I made

Well damn how can love turn me black and blue

How can love be this cruel

Stepping on broken glass

At last I found what was under the mask

Love is pure

Love is joy

Love is something that can never be played like a toy

Love is kind

I hurt you because I love you

That's the devil's lie

you hurt me because you are scared of what I become

I look in the mirror

I look in its eye

and the love that is looking back

is the love that will never die
