Because I love you

"What is love?"

Love isn't all hugs and kisses.

Love isn't what you post on the social media.

Love isn't being together for a long time.

"What is love then?"

Love is caring for each other.

Because I love you,

I make sure you're okay,

mentally, emotionally and physically.

Because I love you,

I want you to open up to me,

about everything and anything that disturbs you.

Because I love you,

I make sure you're eating healthy,

I make sure you're safe.

When you love someone, fidelity isn't a sacrifice.

Because I love you,

I protect you with self-control

Love is forgiving and forgetting.

If things don't go as we planned,

I'll let go because I love you,

and I want you to be happy.

And I'll wish you the best
