Because I love you, I will always be there to patch up scraped knees
Because I love you, you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you’re in need
Because I love you, I will not throw away your ridiculous drawings nor eat all of your candy
Because I love you, I will let you run off with your best friend Gracie
Because I know you love me, I know you will never forget me
