Because I love you...

Because I love you, I will not help you with everything, so that you know how to do things by yourself

Because I love you, I would be your back up in a fight with a random stranger, but then reprimand you afterward on why you got in the fight in the first place, when the other person did nothing to you

Because I love you, I will push into your life, but at the same time give you space when you need it, since I would never push you too hard unless I know that you are ready for it

Because I love you, I will always tell you the truth, even when I know it hurts to hear

Because I love you, I would do anything for you, however at the same time I would tell you to stop when no one else will

Because I love you, I will always be on your side, even when it seems like its you against the world

Because I love you, I keep my opinion at bay, when you tell me yours

I love you because I know you will do all of this the same for me, and you will do a hundred more

Because I love you, I would rip out my heart and give it to you to keep if you asked for it, since I could never repay all the love that you gave to me back
