Because I Love You
Because I love you, I can face the trials of tomorrow
Together we can go through deep sadness and sorrow
Because I love you, I would cross through fire
Together our love burns a thousand times brighter
Because I love you, I give you my ultimate trust
Because a friendship without it is worth no more than dust
Because I love you, I would lay down my life
To keep your heart safe from the point of a knife
Because I love you, I would carry the Earth
If it meant your burdens would change from despair to mirth
Because I love you, I will let you grow
Never putting you down by words so low
Because I love you, I give you a room in my heart
So you would have a place to stay and we’d never be apart
For the phrase “Because I love you” is sacred to me
For it is the reason I am willing to brave the unknown and in love be free
