Because I Love You

Manipulate you, I would never

Instead, I promise to love you forever,

There will be times when you seem to fall

But I'll hold your hand through them all,

And communication is key

I must listen to you and you must listen to me,

With communication comes a lot of respect

After asking something of me you shouldn't have to breathe down my neck,

Because I love you

And I hope you do anything to make me happy

But not so much that you forget to make yourself happy,

Because I would never allow you to love me more than you love yourself

that would be selfish and I'm supposed to be here to help,

to make your life better,

to show you love,

to, from time to time, hold you and give you hugs

I'll do everything that a girlfriend is meant to do

Only I'll be here, not for my presence, but to benefit you

Because I love you
