Because I love you
Because I love you, I will be your best friend first, and your significant other second.
Because I love you, I will always be a phone call away.
Because I love you, I will be there when you need me, and take a step back when you don’t.
Because I love you, I will support you in all of your dreams and aspirations.
Because I love you, I respect you as your own person, with their own thoughts, ideas and dreams.
Because I love you, I understand that I am not the only person in your life, because you have family, other friends, and a life that you had before you met me.
Because I love you, I consider it an honor and a privilege to be allowed into that life and will not take it for granted.
Because I love you, my only hope is that you will continue to walk this journey of life with me, neither one of us dominating the other.
