Because I Love You

Because I love you

There is no night that cools my soul-

I only feel the warmth of the stars that match your ebullient gaze

Your arms shield me from the virulent world

Your tender kisses descend on my cheeks and I am lost in the feeling

This feeling, I will never betray with a kiss

For you are all I need in this otherwise barren world

Because she loves me

There is no reason I should raise my hand in animosity

Never strike the same cheek I shower with kisses

As the stars continue to rise so do my feelings for her

The smoothness of her skin shall never be tarnished by a drunken haze

She is stuck to me and I am stuck to her

Our souls entwine as we dance across the nighttime sky

Because we love each other

We feel the breeze as we twirl in a jubilant affair

Not daring to say a word for we know what each other is thinking

We never will abandon this feeling for the sins of the corrupt society

Never will let media intersect in our truth

Nothing comes between us

We are complete.
