Because I love you

Love is an iron core

filling the soul

with gentle storms.

A rope of steel

tying yourself to another

to bring pain to a heel

it is a mass fiery blades

a weapon of fine point

Or a great shield of spades

With it two souls attracts

Through care and affection

Never reeling from earths distracts

hard stone or weakened wood

together through any age

United we are good

our eyes forever wander

yet our hearts of gold

our lives shall never squander

for holy and pure

we cannot compare

yet love is our cure

and so love, unity of minds

from the storms of life

because I love you,

I will never leave your side
