Because I Love You
The words "because I love you" are lost to me
Daddy used them, so did you
Daddy told me to hush
He said "I'll stop, because I love you"
He never stopped dealing or partaking
He lied and became a liar to me
"Because I love you Shaybell"
You told me you'd always be there
When I asked why you loved me, you said
"Because I love you"
You probably said those words to every damn girl you slept with, while you were with me
You lied and became a liar to me
"Because I love you, my lovely"
You both used one word as an excuse to make me listen
He used three words to make me belive him
You used those same three words to make me fall
"I love you"
I fell and kept on falling, until I died from impact
When I was revived I realized
You don't need a girlfriend
All you need is a female robot
That only says pretty little simple words, "I love you"
Daddy loved me, but wasn't strong enough to really stop and get help
He didn't know how to parent me
He's gone now, but you aren't
You're everywhere I go
You're even in my head
The faux memories of us always take me by surprise
How did you do that?
You made me love you, somehow
It's still a mystery to me
But now my eyes have seen through the fog
You never loved me the way I deserve to be loved
I loved daddy
I loved you
My pain is a reaction to the action of loving you both
Because I loved you, it's hard to love.
