"Because I Love You"

I love you; but not the kind of love you where lets get married.

I love you as my friend because you were always there for me even though you yelled I couldn't tell it was because you cared.

"Because I love you" I can trust you.

And because I trust you I can communicate and no longer be afraid

to say things; to say things like "I am a warrior astray trying to get back in the game".

"Because I love you" I can communicate because we won't yell and have a fight for pathetic things I say.

"Because I love you" I won't get hurt for telling you my feelings.

I won't get hurt like before, like I was in the past.

When all my pieces cracked I'd fall on you because I'd know you'd somehow always put me together with your glue.

I love you, but though I lost you I'm still not going to break my promises.

Because you helped me care for my well being.

In every relationship you can't love someone if you can't love yourself.

You taught me how to love myself even when I wanted to rebel.

Though I lost you I still care about you.

Though they tell me to forget about you and that you're not worth it.

How do I forget someone who's been in my life?  How do I forget someone who can't be erased?

Though you hurt me over and over I always came back with my pieces all over.

I don't know if that's love or stupidity?

And in the end, though you hurt my feelings... I forgive you because I love you and that's what GOD would do for me.
