Because I Love You

Because I love you
I want to make you smile,
And hear you tell me your stories
And then sit in comfortable silence for awhile

Because I love you
I shower you with hugs,
We talk through the day
You're never a bug

Because you love me
You offer your jacket when I'm cold,
And I know you will do this
Even when we're old

Because you love me
You respect my decisions and moves,
I never have to worry
You will always approve

Because we love one another
We hold hands through rough times,
Remind each other we'll always be there
Even when we're not at our prime

Because we love one another
We trust each other with our life,
You will be my husband
And I will be your wife
