Because I love you...

Because I love you I watch your back and gain perspective

I watch with willful and eager eyes

Because I love you I’m obliged to know what is next

as in what does your future hold and what have you been told.

I care with an unlimited passion and want the best even if that isn’t what I expect.

I choose to understand you, this is true, but I can also disagree after all I’m human to.

I want you to succeed and yet be true.

Kindness is also a factor that I deem true.

Because I love you these are all very true I hope you see me as I see you.
