Because I Love You...

I want a healthy relationship with you, because I love you…

Not the kind relationship that has the manipulating “you’ll do it because you love me” phrases that are said every other day just to convince the other to do something for you that you can’t do or get yourself.

A healthy relationship is one like no other.

A healthy relationship is one when fireworks go of when you kiss.

And no I don’t just mean the spark you feel from the inside of your heart, not just the chemical bond that you create when the 2,000 plus nerve ends in each pair of lips connect.

I’m talking about the ones that go up 70 feet in the air,

the ones that take you to a place of happiness from your childhood,

when you would watch the magical lights falling from the midnight blue sky onto the ground in a glistering array of beauty and precision.

That’s what a healthy relationship should feel like.

But a healthy relationship has its ups,

and they have their downs but of course there should be more ups

But even during the dreadful downs you stick together and grow to be stronger.

You have each other when it feels like nobody else is there for you.

You care about each other when it feels like nobody else could bother.

You have each other even when the other messes up.

A healthy relationship can work through issues even when it hurts you.

A healthy relationship isn’t about spending money, it’s about the time spent with each other, it’s about the way you treat each other and the feeling you get around each other.

A healthy relationship is like no other, its filled with trust, love, and joy.

A healthy relationship is the best friendship you’ll ever have.

That’s what a healthy relationship is about.
