Because I Love You
I realized I loved you when I couldn't sleep
because i was tossing and turning in bed.
I realized I loved you when I couldn't do anything
without you running through my head.
Im not sure where it all went wrong
but everything I do reminds me of you.
Whenever I click "next" its somehow our song
I really pictured myself saying "I do".
Because I love you I don't mind when you yell,
I know its not personal .
Because I love you I keep telling everyone I fell
when we all know thats not true.
I wanted to help you transition from punching walls to being at ease.
I thought I wanted to spend my life with you , see you finally get down on your knees.
But because I love you, I know you need to be alone
Because I love you I know I shouldn't answer the phone
Yet somehow I do... every time
But because I love me, I'm finally walking away
And hopefully tomorrow will be a different day
