Because I Love You
Because I Love You...
I would sacrifice my time and space just to see that beautiful smile of yours,
Because I love you,
The whole world stops when someone mentions your name,
Name meaning who and what you are and that is a phenomenal person.
Someone who invests their time in me,
Without asking for sexual favors but instead intellectual favors,
You make me want to be a better person not just for me but for us,
Us as a union because that is what we are committed too,
I say I love you, I really mean it, I’m not like the ones who switch up on you,
instead I want to be involved with you.
Want to be involved in your mental well being, not to take advantage of you but to take care of you,
Because I love you,
I cannot get enough of you
You urge me to make better decisions because if I don’t everything will fall apart,
Fall apart like the city of Pompeii, leaving nothing but dust,
That is something I refuse to let happen and it will never happen,
Because I truly LOVE YOU
