Because I love you
It’s because I love you I’m willing to let go
Not because you aren’t the one, rather I’m not yours
Knowing my bounds is must or I’ll never let go
A beauty you are in retrospect but not mine
Neglectful am I and even more so to you
Do not waste time with me for I am like the shores
So unsteady and so different unlike you
A beauty you are but I will just wash your time
But I will never forget you and want you back
Do not tell me how dumb I was to close your doors
And I sense my words will never bring you back
A beauty you are and trespassing would be a crime
Feelings and thoughts for you are all I will have left
I do still love you but must keep them unexpressed
