Because I Love You

When I met you, everything changed

Love became every emotion and every action

Instead of just a word.

Because I Love You came after

'Wear your seatbelt' and 'Make sure you eat'

Instead of

'Who are you talking to' and 'I'm the only one you need.'

Love became something I needed, an addiction.

But I could tell you didn't feel the same.

So because I Love You,

I need to leave you.
