Because I Love You

Because i love you

My days were never grey

The way you held my hands

Made me feel some type of way

Because i love you

Skies were always bright

Just like your eyes

They were such a deep color that drowned me

Because i love you

I waited for you

But little did i know

You were with her

Because i love you

I asked you who she was

You said not to worry

Because i was the one

Because i love you

I stayed for you after class

Thinking it was turn

All i wanted was you to be with me

Because i love you

I let you hurt me

I let the pain get to me

Every night i knew she was the one for you

Because i love you

I needed to let you go

But i couldn't

So i lay low

Because i love you

I am with you now

But the pain

Still lingers around

Because i love you

I know you can see me

Because i love you

I am just your memory
