Because I Love You

My hands began to shake and tremble as I read the message you sent,

nothing but silence filled the air as my relationship just disappeared.

We were us and now we are; you and me,

but because I love you I let you walk away, walk away with my heart and your own.

Your smile seems to brighten and brighten as the day goes on because I love you I don't bother you with my aching heart.

I help by staying out of your way, you have no need for my shedding tears.

because I love you I let you be.
